I’ve started working on new material for Boy In Trouble. Again electro based, bit rough on the edges. Working title is Electronika.
There are some demo’s on my disc that need a proper finish. ‘Down & Dirty’ is the first track I started working on a few months ago.
A nice drum track, with the help of ‘Battery’, a bassline – simple loops from my synth, some sequencer loops and a distorted guitar that runs through a phaser. It sounds okay this way. I’ve been playing around with more stuff, but that doesn’t add anything to the song. I’ll just leave it this way.
Usually when I start recording I haven’t got a clue which of my aliasses will use the material. But this time it is quite clear that it is new Boy In Trouble material.
It will take a month or so to finish the other songs. Not an album this time but a 4 or 5 piece EP.
